As we celebrate the 115th Anniversary of our Mother Cathedral in 2010, it is important that we know our history and where we came from. The following is the schedule of services for the Great Fast (excluding the regular Sunday Divine Liturgies). Please use this as a guide for the times of the services noting that the Monday evening Great Compline services will alternate between St. Nicholas Cathedral and St. Mary in Bay Ridge.

Orthodox Lecture Series

Beginning last November, the Antiochian and Greek Orthodox parishes of Brooklyn began sponsoring a monthly lecture series. The lectures are being held on a Thursday night each month, alternating between St. Mary and Holy Cross Churches in Bay Ridge. Each month's lecture will be delivered by a different presenter. The overall theme for the lectures is: "The Emmaus Journey: From the Cradle to the Kingdom, Discussions on Moral and Ethical Issues." The fifth lecture will be at Saint Mary Orthodox Church on 81st Street and Ridge Blvd. in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn on Thursday, March 11th at 7:00pm and Archimandrite Eugene Pappas of Three Hierarchs Church will be the speaker on "Community: Isolationism, Worship, Technology, Environment, Sacramental Dimensions" Click here for the flyer and church addresses.
