2017-2018 Brooklyn Clergy Lecture Series

Please join our fellow Orthodox Christians from Brooklyn for our annual Pan-Orthodox Brooklyn Lecture Series. This monthly event will take place at a different church in Brooklyn with a guest speaker. This year the theme is "Exploring Aspects of Church Life". Topics will include missions, forgiveness, bereavment, raising children, ministry to the sick, youth ministry and biotechnology. We have invited experts in these areas to speak to us and discuss with us. The second lecture will take place at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, 8401 Ridge Blvd. on Thursday, November 16 at 7:00pm and the topic is "Forgiven and Set Free: So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free" (John 8:36). This lecture will deal with the topic of abortion and the guest speaker is Ms. Robin Gaither, Licensed Mental Health Counselor.  Please click here for the flier for the year with speakers, locations and topics.
